Delivery & Returns
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions that take place on the www.montgomeryduffle.com website. The use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for your future reference.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
All of our products are covered by our 1 Year warranty. If the product is received and there is a problem you must inform us within 28 days of receipt. Please check your product upon delivery. If an item is visually damaged upon delivery, it must be signed as ‘damaged’. The warranty starts on the day following your receipt of the product. If there is a problem with your product please contact us where we will assist.
We have collected the product specifications, images and other information published on our website from information provided by suppliers and manufacturers. We always endeavour to ensure this information is as accurate and amended as soon as possible. We cannot however guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.
In the event any product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).
Availability of Products.
Products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we are unable to supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods. Items that are not in stock are ordered in and may take up to 12 weeks to deliver, please contact us to check availability.
All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturers Guarantee for a period of 12 months. Your goods will be repaired by us should the product develop a manufacturers fault within twelve months from the date of purchase. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. Should your product develop a fault within the first seven days of purchase you many return your goods for a full refund providing you return the unit in the same condition as supplied. Refunds will be processed with 28 days from receipt of returned goods. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have. Handmade products due the very nature may contain small variations in profile. This is not considered a defect.
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa/Visa Electron, MasterCard. When ordering you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number – the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. You may also pay by PayPal. Cheque or postal order are also accepted, although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 10 days.
Cancellation of Orders / Returned Goods
If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 28 working days from date of delivery for full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges. It remains your responsibility to return any such items in a pristine saleable condition in their original box and packaging.
If you are returning goods from within the UK you are responsible for the return of the goods. If you are returning goods from outside the UK you will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return. We do not uplift items. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account. If you do not return goods within 28 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be revoked. The cancellation must be received within the 28-day period.
Delivery of stock items will normally be made within 3-5 working days from clearance of payment. We shall endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control. We use UK Mail for domestic deliveries within the UK, and we use DHL for Europe and rest of the world. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
You will own the goods once we have received your payment in full. We do not offer any credit facilities at the moment. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
